A Nonpartisan Leader with a Commitment to Public Service

Khris Fields believes effective leadership happens beyond a desk. He believes leaders should be the first to show up and the last to walk away. Instead of waiting for complaints to reach City Hall, he would go directly to the source—meeting residents where problems exist, inspecting neglected properties, standing at dangerous intersections, and confronting failing infrastructure firsthand.

When government agencies or utility companies fail the community, Fields would demand answers publicly and persistently until action is taken. He would use every available platform—from public meetings and press conferences to formal letters and community forums—to keep pressure on those responsible and keep residents informed.

His commitment extends beyond addressing problems. Fields would be a constant presence in the community: championing local nonprofits, recognizing teachers, volunteers, and first responders, celebrating small businesses, listening to residents through regular town halls, and clearly explaining every major decision that affects the city. He believes public office is not about occupying a seat at City Hall—it's about being present in the neighborhoods, standing alongside the people, and delivering results they can see.

Khristopher A. Fields is a nonpartisan,Texas Attorney General's Office-Certified, Harvard-Credentialed, and FEMA-Certified leader whose record of public service has been honored by both Republican and Democrat elected officials across the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of government at the federal, state, and local levels. He has also been officially recognized by the Harris County Attorney’s Office and the Texas House of Representatives for his public policy experience.

Fields comes from a family with a strong tradition of military service. His grandfather honorably served in the United States Air Force before joining NASA in 1967 as a computer analyst. His older brother honorably served in the United States Army Texas National Guard, and his younger brother continues to serve honorably in the United States Air Force. Fields also served in the United States Navy before receiving a medical related separation. In 2023 he was named an Honorary Admiral in the Texas Navy, a ceremonial state honor bestowed by Governor Greg Abbott.

Fields is a member of the East Texas A&M University family, College of Science, Engineering and Agriculture, where he is a non-traditional student pursuing advanced skills in tech management for public services. He has experience with the United States Department Of Defense, served as a credentialed Federal Emergency Response Official with the United States Department Of Homeland Security and received specialized training through the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC). He is a former member of the American Federation of Government Employees. Since September 2024, he has been under the mentorship of an executive with the United States Department of the Treasury.

Fields is certified in Emergency Management for Senior Officials, Emergency Planning, Leadership and Influence, Public Works and Disaster Recovery, Decision Making and Problem Solving and Effective Communication through the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the National Disaster & Emergency Management University - Emergency Management Institute. Fields holds certification in Mastering Operations & Development of Local Government Administration from Acacia University. Additionally, Fields is Certified in Texas Open Government Law by the Texas Attorney General's Office. Furthermore, Fields holds several certificates through Harvard University’s online learning initiative in leadership, communication, rhetoric, persuasive writing, and public speaking. Fields was also nominated by a sitting member of the Texas House of Representatives for an Honorary Doctoral Degree at Texas Southern University.

Fields was formally honored by the State of Texas through H.R. 1472, an official legislative act of the 89th Texas Legislature, adopted as an official House action and preserved in the State’s legislative record—an honor bestowed upon less than 1% of Texans throughout the history of Texas. The action was certified by the Chief Clerk of the House and signed by the Speaker of the House, formally recognizing Fields for his vision, leadership, and dedication to young Texans.

Among his many notable distinctions, Khristopher Fields has been crowned with the United States Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, by the Executive Office of the 46th President of the United States of America—an honor bestowed upon fewer than 1% of Americans in the history of the United States—in recognition of more than 4,000 federally vetted and documented hours devoted to helping others through the giving of his time, skills, effort, knowledge, and personal resources for the benefit of individuals and communities throughout America: stepping forward, taking responsibility, addressing community needs, strengthening communities, creating opportunities, mentoring others, and using his abilities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, without making personal financial gain the purpose of that service.

Together, these experiences have given Fields a multidisciplinary background spanning public administration, emergency management, technology, government operations, and youth mentorship.
